Kavli Lecture and Symposium 2013
The University of Tokyo, The Kavli Foundation, The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters and The Norwegian Embassy are organizing a high profile event, to dive into the essence of “The smallest, The biggest and The most complex”, Nanoscience, Cosmos and Neuroscience.
The Kavli Prize Laureate lecture will be given by Prof S. Iijima, prize laureate in Nanoscience 2008. The Kavli Symposium will discuss the role of science in finding solutions to global challenges, such as within health and sustainable environment. Key science executives are expected to participate, including 60 from Norway. MoUs are to be signed between The University of Tokyo and Norwegian universities to mark the intention of stronger collaboration in the years to come.
